The Church of Abu Serga is located within the Old Cairo area and is one of the most important sites along the Holy Family's route in Egypt. The church contains the famous crypt (cave) linked by Coptic tradition to one of the places where the Holy Family stayed during their time in Egypt. The site is one of the most important spiritual destinations for tourists and visitors, and it represents one of the most prominent historical and religious landmarks in Cairo.
The church also has an ancient well from which the Holy Family drank, as well as a deep baptismal font dating back to the era of Caliph Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah.

Development Works
The project includes building a 150-room hotel to serve visitors to the area, which contains a large number of archaeological and religious sites of historical significance (Islamic, Christian, and Jewish), enhancing the accommodation experience for visitors.
